Samsung Unveils Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra with High-Resolution Cameras 1

Bengaluru, NFAPost News Service:  Avid photography enthusiasts are in for some great news as Samsung is unveiling an array of Galaxy S20 smartphones today, with high-powered cameras.

The new lineup features the compact S20, larger S20+ and the monstrous Ultra S20 with 100x ultra zoom paired with a 108MP primary
camera.

Those who are anxious to get a glimpse of these flagship camera phones may tune into Samsung’s live-streaming event for the S20 series launch. The non- ultra models (S20 and S20+) feature 12MP ultra-wide and wide-angle cameras while the telephoto camera gets a major upgrade up to 64MP.

Armed with an F2.0 periscope lens, the telephoto camera enables capturing fine details at a distance along with enough resolution to retain sharpness as well as high image detail with up to 30x zoom capability. One may opt for either optical or digital zoom depending on their varying photographic needs.

The S20 Ultra features a monstrous 108MP camera for capturing more light and taking ultra-high resolution stills by stitching up to nine pixels into a single virtual one. The resultant image will still be a 12MP shot albeit of significantly higher quality in terms of detail, clarity and colour accuracy.

With its zoom capability of up to 100x, you will invariably end up capturing stunning photos with a high level of detail every time. Additionally, the S20 series now supports 8K video recording with 33MP frames.

Furthermore, you can also fiddle with white balance and ISO settings to get great stills under low-light conditions as part of the cameras’ Pro mode. There’s also a new ‘single take mode’ which supports capturing video from all three cameras simultaneously.

The front aka selfie cameras on the S20 and S20+ feature a single 10MP F2.2 lens. In contrast, the ultra model ships with a 40MP sensor with ultra-zoom capability.

Considering the remaining specifications, all the three S20 models come with incremental updates to their hardware configuration that are listed below:
